Special Guest #39: NED SONNTAG!

CORRECTION: Ned wrote me about some errors in the bio. Here it is!
LOL Ivan"Oh No He Di'ent" Manuppelli went to Lambiek for my Bio and gave as my Homepage my nephew's gallery of my art which is from '05... GSOM was never actually on Saturday Morning TV... the info-gatherers at Lambiek got that notion from a '95 2pg-strip I did for BUF Magazine where I JOKED about such an occurance.  And the late Mrs.S. and I washed-ashore in '97 not '91.  Best place to find a list of my blogs and caches is nedsonntag.com
thanks much
NED

NED SONNTAG studied animation at the Pratt Institute in New York, where he graduated in 1973. He was involved with the underground comix scene, and contributed to magazines like The New York Ace (an East Village Other offshoot), Occult Laff-Parade and Young Lust. In 1975 he created his science-fiction strip 'Glittering Skyline of Marsport' and later he started working for Marvel Comics. There he worked on several comics such as 'Howard the Duck' and 'Savage Sword of Conan!'. At the same time, Sonntag made illustrations and cover art. In 1984, he was employed as artist on 'Betty Boop' by King Features Syndicate. He moved to Chatham, MA with his wife Katy in 1991, still illustrating and painting for several magazines and even theater companies. In 1999, he started studying Photoshop and Webdesign to bring his art and animation skills to the Web. One of the things he has done since is 'Cavegrrl'.
